7/18/06- Dr Appt-Endocrinology

Cedie, her nurse, and I went to see her endocrinologist today. We were there from 1:15 to 5:15. Sigh.... However, Cedie was in such good spirits so we passed the time by taking these cute pictures of her and her new shoes (size 1 and still to big but absolutely adorable). Cedie was in such a good mood, up until it was time to get her blood work done :-(

The appointment went well. The doctor eased my mind on a couple issues. He was a little concerned about her lack of growth but wanted to concentrate on her thyroid function at this point. It is most critical during the first three years of life. He had blood drawn to check her thyroid levels as well as a couple other levels. He wants us to change her thyroid medicine (the brand) and he may/may not change the strength once we get the test results back. We will see him again in 2 months (Sept).
