Monday, 5/8/06- Got My Button!

Cedie had a great day today. She was happy all day. Her arm didn't seem to bother her. Her CO2 was so good that they went down on her vent settings some more. She weighed in at 6.94kg (15.3 lbs).

Cedie was measured for a Mic-Key button last October. This is to replace the step 2 tube that she currently has. Well, it finally came in today! It will make her "tummy time" easier (one less tube in the way!) and her clothes will fit better. (Also, an important benefit in mommy's eyes is that it will be harder for her to pull out her g-tube!) This is a big step towards being a big girl!

Cedie had a lot of talking to do today! We had a whole conversation filled with oohs and ahhs! She even did her noises for her daddy over the phone!

Her surgeries have not been scheduled yet. They still might happen this week though.
