Cedie Lynn Mock's Blog

Cedie Lynn was born on 6/16/05 in Memphis, TN. She arrived 6 wks early. Cedie spent the first 11 & 1/2 months in the hospital. Although she endured many surgeries and spent 2/3 of her life in hospitals, she was a very happy, beautiful little girl who was full of love and who was loved by everyone who met her in person and online. She now watches over all of us as our own little angel.

Girls Night

One of our close friends from LeBonheur came to visit with us tonight. She and I decided to show Cedie what we girls like to do when we've been feeling a little under the weather.... pig out and pamper ourselves (while gossiping ofcourse :-) )! We ordered pizza (that is a cheese stick in Cedie's hand in the 2nd pic). Then we pampered Cedie by playing with her hair (see the new bow I got her this weekend? it is 1 of 9 that I got at the Germantown Festival- I was so excited to find something that would stay in her hair). We also painted her finger and toe nails for the first time ever! It was so much fun!

I love this last picture of her and her girraf. It looks like she is hiding :-) She is actually using it to help her sit up on her own. Isn't she smart!

    Hello Miss Cedie,

You have a ton of hair compared to me when I was your age. My hair was always really fine and so bows and stuff would never stay in. My mom's secret trick was using a little dab of Karo syrup under the bow (the light corn syrup, although your hair is dark enough either kind would work for you!). Presto! Hair accessories that stay in much better--and taste good too!

    Hugs from WA,
    Sarah, Jeremy, and Evan Storrs
