8/13/06- Birthday Reception at First Church

This is Bubba (Cedie's great great grandmother), Cedie's 2nd cousins Dalton and Tarrah, and big brother Dylan in the front.
Bubba and Cedie on the same stage that mommy and Nana ran on as little girls.

Today Cedie's Great Great Grandmother's church had a birthday reception in honor of her 95th birthday. It was First Methodist Church in downtown Memphis. It is one of the oldest churches in the area (it was around in the 1800s!)

It was a really nice reception and I know Bubba loved showing off her grandchildren (Nana and her brother), her great grandchildren (myself, my sister, Tarrah, and Dalton) and her great great grandchildren (Dylan and Cedie).

It was also neat to show off Cedie to this special church group that has had Cedie on their prayer list for over a year.

After the reception we all went to Bubba's house for a visit. It was a very nice afternoon.
