Cedie Lynn Mock's Blog

Cedie Lynn was born on 6/16/05 in Memphis, TN. She arrived 6 wks early. Cedie spent the first 11 & 1/2 months in the hospital. Although she endured many surgeries and spent 2/3 of her life in hospitals, she was a very happy, beautiful little girl who was full of love and who was loved by everyone who met her in person and online. She now watches over all of us as our own little angel.

Prayers Needed

Sunday night Cedie went into full arrest. It took 20 minutes to resussitate her heart. She is stable now but the doctors do not know the extent of her brain damage. She has done an EEG test and we were told her prognosis is not good. However, they say there is a chance for improvement. We all know what a fighter Cedie is and she has proved them wrong many times before and beat the odds.

Please pray for Cedie, and her family. We need strength and God's healing. I can not answer my phone in ICU and I can't bear to leave her. I will try to get someone to update through here as much as possible.

    Praying Cedie pulls through, keep strong and remember how resilliant our children can be, even when the odds are not good. Amelie had two pulmonary arrests last December and her rescus was long on both occasions, and the lack of oxygen during was worrying, we were told to expect the worse with regards to brain function. Children are stronger than adults and Amelie was fine 4 months later! I hope this brings you some comfort and strength. hugs the Chan Family & Amelie (charge 2 years) UK.

Your long suffering reaches far beyond our understanding, however we stand on faith that God will bless you and your family from head to toe, side to side, back to front and inside out.
