Cedie Lynn Mock's Blog

Cedie Lynn was born on 6/16/05 in Memphis, TN. She arrived 6 wks early. Cedie spent the first 11 & 1/2 months in the hospital. Although she endured many surgeries and spent 2/3 of her life in hospitals, she was a very happy, beautiful little girl who was full of love and who was loved by everyone who met her in person and online. She now watches over all of us as our own little angel.

To All the Cedie Fans of the World

We want to thank all of you Cedie fans for sending your thoughts, wishes, and prayers. It meant so much to us to know how loved our daughter was and to know how many lives she touches in such a short time.

Thank you all who came to her funeral vistiation and/or services. It was overwhelming to see all of those who knew/loved our precious angel. I have never seen a turn out like that. Words can not express how conforting it was to have each and everyone of you there.

You guys will get the hang of the home equipment in a snap! Ben has a trach, no vent... but still lots of equipment to learn. This is my one piece of advice... the equipment will become much easier over time. At first, we hated the home stuff - so much louder and baulkier than the hospital tools. And hauling them around with Ben was a nightmare at first. But trust me, over time you get use to it and it becomes second nature.

    Cedie,
You are a blessing to this family. Many Saturdays I have picked up your Great Great Grandmother (Bubba) and brought her to visit you. She gave you the little pink doll you like to sleep with. For Mother's Day I gave her a picture of you sleeping with the doll and she said you are so precious. I happen to agree with her. Love always, Nana, G'Daddy and Bubba. (Cordova & Memphis, TN)
