Cedie Lynn Mock's Blog

Cedie Lynn was born on 6/16/05 in Memphis, TN. She arrived 6 wks early. Cedie spent the first 11 & 1/2 months in the hospital. Although she endured many surgeries and spent 2/3 of her life in hospitals, she was a very happy, beautiful little girl who was full of love and who was loved by everyone who met her in person and online. She now watches over all of us as our own little angel.

5/18/06 - Hearing Test


It's now 12:30 p.m. on Cedie's big day. We have already had our hearing tests but have not yet gone to surgery for he arm.

Cedie's hearing has improved since her last test. Her right ear has moderate hearing loss. Her left ear has NORMAL hearing!!!! The audiologist has recommended that she start learning sign language (from the speech theapist). She is also considering an amplication devise for her left ear. She will talk with ST and Cedie's doctors.

I'll post again after her skin graft surgery.

    WOW! Congratulations on the hearing test! That is INCREDIBLE!!! I know of very very few CHARGErs if any with that little of hearing loss...congratulations, congratulations, congratulations!!! That will certainly make life a little easier for Miss Cedie!!! YAY!!!!
