Memorial Day- 5/29/06

Hope everyone had a good holiday today. We certainly did! Chris, Dylan, and I swam in our pool most of the morning. I called to check on Cedie around lunch time. Her nurse said she was depressed. She said she wasn't playing or smiling like she usually does. We think that she noticed that she was alone again after 72 hours of undivided attention from Chris and I. So, Dylan and I came to the rescue :-) We went to see her. She was so happy to see us. We took her for a stroll. We got some ice cream and took her to the patio area. The three of us had a blast. When we went back up to the unit, Cedie and I sat outside her room and watched Dylan entertain a couple of the sweet little boys that are long term patients in the unit. Everyone, including all the nurses, had a great time. Dylan is so silly :-)
