Wednesday, 5/24/06- Training Day #2

Today we learned how to set up Cedie's home vent and we switched her from the hospital's vent to her vent! This is a huge step out the door!

She was super cute during the training. Like yesterday, she paid attention for a while. At one point we were all standing around her bed, going over all of the vent tubings. Cedie must have thought we all were coming to play with her because she started making her kissing noises and smiling real big. Once she realized we were still training she decided to take a nap.

After training I tried to feed her by bottle. Her Godmother was in the room and so was one of her fav nurses so she really wasn't into eating! She was too busy socializing :-)

She did good on her 1 hr CPAP trial and she slept all night.

Less than a week to go!!!!!!!!!
